Nepal wins match against Ireland Wolves by 6 wickets

Kathmandu: Nepal has won the T-20 match against Ireland Wolves (Ireland ‘A’).

Nepal defeated Ireland Wolves by 6 wickets in T.U. International Cricket Stadium on Monday. Nepal chased the target of 122 runs in 16.1 overs with a loss of 4 wickets.

Kushal Bhurtel was unbeaten at 37 runs. Sundeep Jora contributed 36, Aasif Sheikh 16, and Gulsan Jha 4 runs for the team. Dipendra Singh Airee was unbeaten at 20 runs. Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel faced duck out in the match.

Liam McCarthy took 2 wickets for Ireland ‘A’.

In the first innings, Ireland A won the toss and decided to bat first

Stephen Doheny scored 46 runs for Ireland A. Liam McCarthy and Thomas Mayes contributed 16-16 runs for the team.

Kushal Bhurtel, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Gulshan Jha took 2 wickets each for Nepal. Kushal Malla and Karan KC took 1 wicket each for Nepal. Nepal will compete with Ireland Wolves for the second match on Tuesday.
