CIB letter to Speaker Ghimire: Investigation going on Binod Chaudhary incase of Bansbari Land Embezzlement

Kathmandu: The statement has been taken from Nepali Congress MP Binod Chaudhary, in the Bansbari Land Embezzlement case.

Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) took the statement of Chaudhary on Thursday. CIB presented Chaudhary with a statement at the Public Prosecutor’s office. Chaudhary himself appeared at the District Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Likewise, Chaudhary’s statement was taken in the District Attorney’s Office’s Associate Attorney Sandesh Shrestha’s office room. CIB is investigating Chaudhary in the case of Bansbari Land Embezzlement. CIB sent a letter about the ongoing investigation to Speaker Devraj Ghimire on Wednesday.

Bansbari Land Embezzlement Case: CIB releases Arun Chaudhary and other 2 people

Chaudhary is an elected Nepali Congress MP from West Nawalparasi-1. CIB investigated Chaudhary’s alleged involvement in embezzling 10 acres of Bansbari Leather and Shoe factory’s land.

Similarly, CIB arrested Chaudhary’s brother Arun Chaudhary on 1 February (Magh 18), in case of embezzlement of the land of the Bansbari leather shoe factory and brought it in the name of his company.

Arun Chaudhary was released on the date of attendance by the order of Kathmandu District Court.
