Drone Attack: Death of 3 US troops in Jordan-Syria border

Kathmandu: A drone attack, on a US base near Jordan’s border with Syria, has resulted in the death of three US troops.

President of the USA Joe Biden said that Iran-backed militant groups carried out the attack. Iran has denied its involvement in the attack.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson of Iran Nasser Kanaani said that those were the fake claims made for specific political goals and to reverse the reality of the region. Iran has refused the accusations of the US and Britain.

This is the first reported incident of US troops being killed since the beginning of Hamas’s attack on Israel on 7^th October. Jordan said that the attack took place in Syria.

According to the US military, the fatalities have not been reported in the previous attack incidents on the US bases. The attacker has not been confirmed yet.
