CIAA hauls 3 in charge of alleged bribe

Kathmandu: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has apprehended three individuals, including Rambir Yadav, Survey supervisor of the Survey Office in Lalitpur.
CIAA apprehends 3 in charge of bribery. CIAA conducted the operation based on acting on a tip-off regarding their alleged demand for a bribe from a service seeker seeking a land certificate after demarcation.
Similarly, in addition to Yadav, para-legal service providers Dinesh Banjara and Binod Adhikari were also taken into custody from the office premises.
According to CIAA Spokesperson Narahari Ghimire, arrests were carried out on Tuesday. The seized Rs.2, 50,000 is suspected as a bribe. Police have been investigating the arrestees.
