Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has asked the reason for keeping UML Leader Top Bahadur Rayamajhi in custody in the fake Bhutanese refugee scandal.
The court asked reason to Judge Kumar Regmi to keep Rayamajhi and Secretary Tek Narayan Panday in custody.
Rayamajhi and Regmi filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court against Patan High Court’s order to keep both of them in custody and to proceed with the trial process.
The district court ordered to keep Rayamajhi and Regmi in custody in a fake Bhutanese refugee scandal. Even, the High Court, Patan upheld the District Court decision.
