The goal of the PMGS is to reduce investment and improve the supply of domestic goods. It is believed that the project would help India to improve its infrastructure condition and attract investment from around the globe.

Earlier, the Internal Ministry was delaying the infrastructure development in India. There was a delay in permission and a contradiction between different stakeholders. This has removed the problem of making late decisions, more consumption of time, and the requirement of more investment amount.

The PMGS has united all the infrastructure projects in the prime corridors. This has helped to make the plans of all the ministries at once.
