Surkhet: Police have arrested two people in the murder case of four members of a single family in Mugu.

Police arrested Gorakh Bahadur Shahi Thakuri and Gopal Bohara, residents of Pina Rural Municipality-7, after two weeks of the incident in Mugu. According to the Police, they accepted their crime.

A mother and her three children were killed in Mandu village of Chhayanath Rara Municipality-6 on 27th October (Kartik 10). The dead bodies of Sridevi Bohara (28 years old), her son Manoj (11), her daughter Apsara (8), and her son Rahar (1) were found in their house.

Police said that the two murderers killed them and looted the jewelry and cash. Shahi was living in Kohalpur. He went to the village and created the plan. Shahi went to Mugu from Surkhet on October 22 (Kartik 5). He was hiding in the shed of Gopal Bohora.

The murderers had looted a 2.5 tola gold chain, 25 grams of Tilhari, Cheque, Lalpurja, and Rs. 5-6 thousand cash after the murder. Police said that the murderers planned the murder after spotting Sridevi wearing gold ornaments. The murderers planned the murder in Jestha.
