Kathmandu: Nepal industrialist Binod Chaudhary’s company CG Foods India Pvt. Ltd. has been raided.

The Income Tax (IT) Department of India raided Chaudhary’s CG Foods in Jaipur. The raid has started to grab the attention of people even in Nepal.

According to Indian media, the IT department has even conducted raids in other cities including in Sikar and Dausa. The IT department raided CG Foods after getting a tip regarding Chaudhary’s financial activities.

The department has been minutely examining the financial records of CG Foods and sister companies of the Chaudhary Group. As per the initial reports, the department aims to investigate the probable financial irregularities in CG Foods.
