Maoist leaders in India upon BJP’s invitation

Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist) Centre’s five leaders have reached India.

The delegation of the ruling party Maoist reached India on Sunday. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foreign Affairs Chief Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale welcomed the Maoist team at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

Pampha Bhusal, the Vice Chairperson of Maoist,  led the delegation for a 6-day (23rd to 28th July 2023) India visit. Secretary Chakrapani Khanal, Standing Committee Member Satya Pahadi, as well as central committee members Rameshwor Ray Yadav, and Suresh Kumar Rai are part of the team.

BJP is in the process of strengthening its bond with political parties around the world. Under the same campaign, BJP formally invited the Maoist team.

BJP has tagged the campaign as “Know BJP.” The visit aims to enhance the party-party interaction and enable the delegation to understand the functioning of the BJP. There is a schedule for having discussions with various BJP leaders and visiting BJP Headquarters in Delhi.

Likewise, the team will meet the National Party President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, and other senior party leaders of the BJP. The delegation will also be part of a two-day tour to Uttarakhand. The delegation will also meet the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami and other BJP state functions.

On the 43rd Foundation Day of BJP, National President Shri J P Nadda announced the “Know BJP” initiative for the external outreach of the party.
