Ireland chasing lofty target of 269 runs set by Nepal

Kathmandu: Nepal and Malaysia are currently facing each other for the 7th place playoff of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

Ireland is chasing a lofty target of 269 runs set by Nepal. Set to bat first at the Takashinga Sports Club, Harare in Zimbabwe, Nepal scored 268 runs with the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs.

Gulsan Jha scored a half-century for Nepal. This is the third ODI half-century of Gulsan for Nepal. He scored 57 runs unbeaten smashing 4 boundaries and 3 sixes.

Likewise, Arjun Saud scored 48 runs. Kushal Malla, Sandeep Lamichhane, Rohit Kumar Paudel, and Bhim Sharki scored 44, 32, 29, and 20 runs respectively.

Mark Adair, Barry McCarthy, and Craig Young succeeded to take 2 wickets each for Ireland.
