Speaker Ghimire adjourns parliamentary meeting

Kathmandu: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has adjourned the parliamentary meeting.
Speaker Ghimire postponed the meeting after the protest of the CPN (UML) and Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
UML and RSP started protesting by standing just after the beginning of the parliamentary meeting on Tuesday. The meeting has been adjourned for 15 minutes.
RSP Chief Whip Santosh Pariyaar said that the decision of suspending and merging the District Election Office with the District Administration Office was against democracy. Even UML has supported the RSP’s opinion.
