Three separate meetings with Modi turned worsening situation to ease: Prachanda

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the situation has become easier after holding three separate meetings with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

Prachanda, who is on a four-day visit to India, said that after the meeting, many things turned good and big things began.

Talking to some editors in New Delhi today, PM Prachanda said, ‘I had three one-to-one meetings with Modi yesterday and then the situation got easier. Otherwise, things seemed to have gone wrong. A very good and big thing has begun.’

The PM also said that Modi spoke about resolving the border issue for the first time and that was significant itself. ‘It is important that Modi himself spoke for the first time about the border issue’, he said, ‘I insisted on it at the beginning.’

Prime Minister Dahal’s delegation met Indian PM Modi, President Draupadi Murmu and others on June 1.
