PM Dahal arrives in Delhi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has arrived in India’s capital New Delhi. The Nepal Airlines flight, carrying PM Dahal, landed at around 2 pm in New Delhi.

Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi, Ambassador of Nepal to India Shankar Sharma, Embassy Staff, and Nepalese Expatriates welcomed PM Dahal at the Indira Gandhi Airport, New Delhi.

The team led by PM Dahal has reached the Hotel Maurya. The Government of India had arranged the accommodation of PM Dahal and other guests in Hotel Maurya.

The next schedule of PM Dahal is of having a meeting with Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra and India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval separately at 6 pm today. About 30 minutes of time has been scheduled for the talk between Advisor Doval and PM Dahal.

PM Dahal has come in a foreign visit for the first time, after taking the responsibility of Prime Minister. PM Dahal and Indian counterpart Narendra Modi will hold a meeting at Hyderabad House at 11 am on Thursday. 30 minutes of time has been allocated for their meeting.

Physical Infrastructure Minister Prakash Jwala, Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Foreign Minister NP Saud, Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Industries Minister Ramesh Rizal and daughter Ganga Dahal are in the team of PM Dahal.

The team led by PM Dahal will return to Nepal on 20th Jestha.
