Possibility of light to moderate rain in hilly regions today

Kathmandu: The country has seen the general influence of the westerly wind and local wind.

The weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

The weather this afternoon will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions and partly cloudy to generally fair in the rest of the country.  Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Gandaki province and a few hilly areas of the rest of the provinces.

According to the Division, there is a possibility of gusty winds at some places of Koshi province and Madhes province.

Tonight, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi province and partly cloudy to mainly fair in rest of the provinces. Light and partial rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki province.
