ACC Premier Cup Final: Nepal fields first against UAE

Kathmandu: Nepal and UAE are facing each other in the final of the ACC Premier Cup on Monday.

The final match is being played at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur from 9:00 am. Nepal has won the toss and elected to field first.

Nepal and UAE have faced each other in 13 matches since 2018. Of them, Nepal has won seven matches.

The winner of the final will play against India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup to be held in September. Nepal is aiming to play the Asia Cup for the first time.

Nepal had defeated Oman, Qatar and Malaysia in the group stage. Nepal reached the final on the basis of its performance in the group stage after the match against Kuwait in the first semi-final was canceled due to rain.

UAE defeated Oman by two runs in the second semi-final match.
