‘Joining of leaders’ head failed, Now focus of communist must be unifying party worker’s heart’:Pokhrel

Kathmandu: The General Secretary of CPN (UML) Shankar Pokhrel has said that the nation is heading toward crisis.

Pokhrel, addressing a program in Lalitpur on Wednesday, predicted the upcoming crisis in the nation.

Pokhrel said, ‘Chaotic political alliances have been leading the country towards crisis. The removal of the UML-led government from the mandate was the beginning of the crisis.’

He even said the requirement of the union of the Leftists.

‘We have realized that unity is only possible after blending the heart of party workers rather than connecting the heads of leaders. Previously, we tried to connect with the head of leaders, but it was unsuccessful. That experiment was unsuccessful.’, Pokhrel said.

Pokhrel even requested the Maoist Centre, Integrated Socialists, and other political parties to merge with UML to for creating a strong national power.
