Kathmandu: Vice-President of Nepali Congress Dhanaraj Gurung has urged the parliament to form an inquiry committee to investigate about the ‘Core Team.’

Gurung, in the parliamentary meeting, held on Monday, said, ‘Who is the core team? There needs to be the formation of a  parliamentary inquiry committee for investigation.’

Previously,  Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) ‘s proportional Member of the Parliament Dr. Dhaka Kumar Shrestha’s audio recording asking for 2 crore rupees leaked. The recording includes Shrestha asking for money with businessman Durga Prasai.

Gurung shed the light on the same matter in his speech. He said that it was an embarrassment to do bargaining with a businessman to become a minister.

Gurung questioned, ‘The audio transparently reveals the conversation with a businessman to become a minister. What might be more embarrassing than this act?’

Gurung asked for the formation of a committee in order to investigate the conversation, corruption, commission, etc.

He said, ‘An investigation committee must be formed today for the transparent investigation of the audio.’
