Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has suspected that the coalition government might impeach the Speaker.
Oli signaled about the Speaker facing impeachment during his participation in the program organized by the Professional Federation.
Oli said, ‘The coalition government wanted to impeach the President previously. The day won’t be far when they will also impeach the Speaker.’
The House of Representatives has a provision of proposing a motion, indicating that the Speaker has not behaved according to his position with the approval of 25 percent of MPs.
Oli had predicted the coalition government utilizing the same provision.
