Government needs to run but appears walking: Gagan Thapa

Kathmandu: General Minister of Nepali Congress Gagan Thapa has suggested the government stop getting stuck in activities and star picking up speed.

Thapa showed dissatisfaction regarding the functioning of the government, during his participation in the Ninth National Convention of Nepal Financial Institution Employees Association on Wednesday.

Thapa said, ‘The government just has an option of running left to catch up with its target. It needs to be running. But it just appears walking.’

He added, ‘It appears like the government is just trying to sit by searching the chair.  But, now it has to take speed, get into form and act upon its resolution without further delay.’

Thapa suggested, ‘Presidents and Prime Minister must prioritize the developmental investments to the top that might show impact.’
