CM Yadav instructs 4 UML ministers to resign

Kathmandu: The Chief Minister (CM) of Madhesh Province Saroj Kumar Yadav has instructed the CPN (UML) ministers to resign.

CM Yadav had asked 4 ministers from the party to submit resignations on Tuesday.

This has provoked the party to quit the government. Likewise, Yadav is ready to relieve the four ministers if he would not receive his resignation.

The CM has asked Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development Saroj Kumar Yadav, Minister of Law, Justice and Provincial Assembly Affairs Rajkumar Lekhi, Home and Communications Minister Shatrudhan Prasad Singh, and Women, Children, Youth, and Sports Minister Mohammad Jayad Alam from the CPN for the resignation.

CM Yadav is planning to appoint ministers from the Nepali Congress Party to the post. He is also planning to relieve the ministers from Janamat Party but a concrete decision has yet to come.
