Donald Trump indicted on criminal charges

Kathmandu: Donald trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, becoming the first former US president to face criminal charges.
The grand jury has indicted Trump for multiple charges after the probe into hush money payment to former porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign.
It is not yet clear what charges Trump will face. As per US media reports, he has been indicted for dozens of charges. He is expected to be arraigned in a New York court next Tuesday.
With this, Trump will be the first former US president to be indicted on criminal charges. He has, however, denied the allegations and called the indictment ‘political persecution’.
