US companies being negative for investing in China: AmCham China

Kathmandu: American companies are being more negative in terms of doing business in China.

American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) President Michael Hart said that the US companies had built more negative perceptions about doing business in China.

The growing business rivalry between the two big nations seems to be the cause behind the mentality of American businessmen.

The disagreeing factor between the government of the President of China Xi Jinping, and America Joe Biden seems to be growing simultaneously.

Issues regarding coronavirus, TikTok issue, Taiwan, etc. are some of the burning ones among the two governments of the nations.

A recent annual survey of AmCham China has also shown a similar result. According to the survey, conducted among 900 members, 55% of participants disagreed with China as a top-three investment destiny.

The uncertain bilateral relations between the two countries seem to be the prime reason behind US businessmen, not prioritizing China for investment. About 66% supported this reason.

Likewise, 49% supported the idea that foreign companies are being less welcomed in China.
