NSU Conflict: Alisha and Mukesh reject Central membership

Kathmandu: The conflict in the Nepal Student Union (NSU), the wing close to Nepali Congress, has been increasing.

The increasing conflict resulted in the nominated Central members rejecting their assigned responsibilities.

NSU member duo Aliza Dhakal and Mukesh Ghimire released a press statement on Tuesday. They announced not to stay on the committee. They decided to leave the committee as the designation was not assigned in assigning abilities.

Even central member Manish Dangol refused to take his designation. The conflict came to the horizon after Central President Dujang Sherpa nominated Ansul KC for the president of Kathmandu on 10th August (Shrawan 25).

Earlier, Manish, the President of NSU Kathmandu, was nominated as the central member. Then, Central President Sherpa gave the responsibility of the President to Ansul.

Manish rejected the position as he was not counseled before assigning the designation of the central member.
