Kathmandu: Nepali Congress has demanded immediate prosecution against the guilty behind the gold smuggling scandal.

Congress Parliamentary Party meeting demanded immediate prosecution against the guilty on Monday.

Congress Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak said,’ Whoever is found guilty must be placed under the prosecution in the gold smuggling case. It must not be delayed’

He said that the formation of the high-profile inquiry committee was not required. He said, ‘The local investigating bodies have been studying the case. It needs to be channeled in the right direction.’
