Kathmandu: A Nepali family of seven members has gone missing after the landslide buried them in Gaurikund, Uttarakhand, India.
According to Indian Media, seven Nepali citizens including three shops were swept away after the landslide occurred after the continuous rainfall.
The online portal Jagaran said that the police found Amar Bohora and his family missing after the landslide. Amar was at that site along with his three sons, two daughters, and wife.
Amar along with his wife Anita (26 years old), daughters Radhika (14) anf Pinki (8) as well as sons Prithvi (6), Jatil (6), and Wakil (3) have gone missinh as per the local police.
The local police reported the challenges in the rescue operation due to incessant rainfall. The actual residence, of Amar and his family, has not been clear. They are predicted to be the residents of Patrasi, Jumla.
They were the owners of one of the shops that was swept away by the landslide. The additional information is still to come. Even 6 Indian citizens have gone missing in the landslide. Gaurikunda lies on the way to the pilgrimage Kedarnath.
