Speaker Baburam Gautam resigns

Biratnagar: The Speaker of the Koshi Provincial Assembly Baburam Gautam has resigned.

Gautam saluted the Deputy Speaker in his resignation letter. He submitted the letter to the State Assembly Secretariat.

Gautam resigned from the post to sign as the Member of Parliament in favor of the coalition.

The coalition is in the phase of presenting the claim to the Chief Minister. It has recommended Uddhav Thapa for the Chief Minister.

Gautam resigned on the direction of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’ He said that the contextual scenario compelled him to resign.
