HoR meeting postpones till 1 pm Thursday

Kathmandu: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been postponed till 1 pm Thursday.

The HoR meeting was not conducted smoothly due to the protest of opposition parties just after the beginning of the meeting. MP Raghu Nath Panta reflected upon the controversial statement of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’

He added that the house would not move forward unless proper action was taken regarding the PM’s statement. Other MPs also supported the demand and started protesting furiously.

Although Speaker Ghimire had adjourned the meeting for half an hour, the opposition parties had attempted to surround the rostrum. Earlier, UML also interrupted the National Assembly meeting.
