Karki proposes all-party government

Kathmandu: Hikmat Kumar Karki has proposed an all-party government while asking for a vote of confidence in the Koshi Province Assembly.

Karki proposed the all-party government system while answering the question in the Assembly. He said that he or his party could even step down from the leadership while making an all-party government.

Except for the Speaker, the opposition has 46 seats. CPN(UML) has 40, Nepali Congress has 29, CPN (Maoist) including Speaker has 13, Rastriya Prajatantra Party has 6, CPN (Unified Socialists) has 4, and Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has one MP in Koshi Province.
