CIB: Investigation going forward on the basis of statements of the arrested ones

Kathmandu: Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has stated the initiation of the Lalita Niwas land grab scandal’s investigation following the statements of the arrested people.

CIB, during a Press Conference on Wednesday, said that they had initiated the investigation based on the arrested people’s statements.

SSP Dinesh Aacharya said that they were collecting evidence related to the land embezzlement case. He said that they were preparing to increase the move forward with the proceedings of the case.

He claimed that the government record would be written as per the Civil Act 2020. He said, ‘4 people have been arrested in the Lalita Niwas Land grab scandal. We have initiated the investigation based on the statements of the arrested ones. There is no doubt regarding the limit. The case will progress in the right process.’

CIB has been investigating the land grab scandal of Lalita Niwas in Baluwatar, which has the possession of the government.

CIB arrested Min Bahadur Gurung, Sudhir Shah(the then officer of the Bhaktapur Malpot Office), Dharma Prasad Gautam (Employee of the Malpot Office), and another Malpot Officer Gopal Karki on Tuesday.
