PM’s Explanation: Govt is sensitive about border security

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prahcanda’ has answered the question regarding border security.

PM Dahal said that the government was sensitive regarding the border issues while answering the question of MP Ashok Kumar Chaudhary at the Parliament on Friday.

He shared the government’s perspective on the border. He said that the government was sensitive and diligent regarding the national interests including the country’s sovereignty, national independence, geographical integrity, and national unity.

PM Dahal said that regular maintenance of border outposts would be carried on to make the border more powerful, robust, and effective. He said that the construction of new outposts was the priority of the government.

He said that 10 outposts would be constructed in the ongoing fiscal year.
