Demise of Sudurpaschim’s Law Minister Singh during treatment

Kathmandu: Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Sudurpaschim Province Prithvi Bahadur Singh has died while undergoing treatment. Minister Singh was injured in a car accident in Bajhang on Tuesday.

The helicopter of the Nepal Army immediately rescued Singh to the Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur for treatment. The Medical College pronounced Singh dead at 5:33 pm.

According to the hospital, the condition of injured driver Dharmaraj Joshi and PSO Police Assistant Constable Deepak Bhandari is normal. They are getting treatment.

His wife, Amrita Singh, and sister-in-law Jayadevi Singh died on the spot. The jeep accident occurred on the bank of the Kalanga River at around 1:45 pm in Ward Number 1, Kedarsyu Rural Municipality, Bajhang. The jeep was moving from Bajhang to Dadeldhura.
