Minor dissatisfaction in the context of Socialist Front: Jhalanath Khanal (Interview)

Kathmandu: There will be a declaration program for the announcement of the Socialist Front (Samajwadi Morcha) at 4 pm in the Rastriya Sabhagriha on Monday.

Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist), and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) will be announcing the Socialist Front at 4 pm on Monday.

But, Former Prime Minister and Senior leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Jhalanath Khanal has decided not to attend the assembly. Earlier, he had been claiming that the front must not be declared without proper discussion regarding proper enemies and policies-programs.

Whereas, Unified Socialist Party Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal has been supporting the immediate announcement of the Socialists Front. He is optimistic about it.

Nepal Views had a brief phone interview with Khanal regarding the context.

I am quite busy today. That’s why I am not going. I won’t be able to attend the program.

Is it only your busy schedule or do you have dissatisfaction regarding the Front?

This matter needs to be discussed in detail. I won’t speak regarding this matter more. There are a few subjects. I will talk about it later. Let’s not talk much regarding this matter.
