6.3 Magnitude earthquake in Philippines; Halts railway lines

Kathmandu: An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude has shaken the Philippines’ main island.

According to the Philippine seismology agency, the earthquake struck out at sea at a depth of 10 kilometers, and the nearby provinces were jolted on Thursday. No casualties have been reported after the quake, as per the report of Reuters.

The earthquake resulted in the halting of three elevated railway lines in Manila. The National Football team is in Manila for a friendly match against the Philippines.
