High-level commission formed to provide justice to loan shark victims

Kathmandu: The government has formed a high-level judicial commission to provide justice to the loan shark victims.

Prime minister Puspa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ informed that the high-level judicial commission has been formed so as to provide justice to the loan shark victims immediately.

The high-powered commission will have the authority to take judicial action by looking at complaints and grievances of the victims. ‘The commission has been formed, not to submit reports only, but to take action as well’, PM Dahal said, ‘It will get full shape by Sunday.’

The commission, to be headed either by a former judge or a commissioner, will reportedly comprise the Inspector General of Nepal Police and Attorney General as its members. The list of other members of the commission is yet to be finalized.
