Minister of Water Supply Abdul Khan resigns

Kathmandu: The head of the Ministry of Water Supply Abdul Khan has resigned from his post today.

The political party of Khan, the Janamat party, had expected the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supply to get during the reshuffle of the cabinet.

But just after Ramesh Rijal of the Nepali Congress, was allocated the Supply Ministry in the reshuffling, Khan resigned from the post as per his secretariat.

Khan immediately submitted his resignation to Pushpa Kamal Dhahal in Baluwatar.

Janamat had also decided on the supply ministry even in the former government formed in Poush 10. Khan had taken the oath of Water Supply Minister after a long period of his recruitment.
