Kathmandu: The lower house of federal parliament is set to hold question and answer session with the prime minister today.
The meeting between prime minister and lawmakers is scheduled for Thursday in the House of Representatives (HoR). The question-answer session between PM Puspa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and lawmakers of HoR will begin at 11:00 am today.
As per the new rules of HoR, the prime minister has to answer the questions raised by the lawmakers. The CPN-UML, which is not happy with the current government led by Prachanda, is planning to press him with toughest questions.
The UML has issued a circular to its lawmakers to prepare the toughest questions as much as possible so that the PM will find it difficult to answer them in an easy manner.
Similarly, lawmakers of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) are also prepared to ask pressing questions to Dahal. RSP lawmakers have already sought PM’s reply in previous meetings.
