'Someone else runs ministries, we are just mannequins' : Kirati

Kathmandu: Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Sudan Kirati has termed the House of Representatives (HoR) and Ministers as ‘Dummies.’

Kirati, while addressing the meeting of the Committee on International Relations and Tourism in Singhadurbar today, termed the ministries and HoR members dummies.

Kirati, while sharing his experience as a minister, said, ‘As per my point of view, someone else runs the parliament. We are just ‘Dummies.’ We are just mannequins.’

He emphasized the need of amending the act before creating change in the tourism sector. He said, ‘We must have an active participation in the parliament. One must have a concern. You must speak for the change. Then, only a minister will get the energy.’
