T.U. International Cricket Ground: Seat installation underway (Photos)

Kathmandu: Installation of seats at the Tribhuvan University (T.U.) Cricket Ground in Kirtipur is underway.

The work of upgrading the ground began last Falgun (around February/March). The progress is on to develop the ground to international standards and to make it suitable for hosting matches at night.

Although the construction may not be completed within the originally set deadline, work is progressing as per the plan of the first phase. The first phase of completion of work includes building parapets to accommodate 10,000 spectators and installing eight floodlights.
