Kathmandu: Kathmandu’s Chobhar Gorge has become a hot topic.
Locals are outraged after the government attempted to remove 5 large stones and other debris from the gorge. The place, which is considered a cultural, historical geographical heritage site, lies between 2 massive rocks.
It, known as the exit point of the Kathmandu Valley, also holds archaeological significance. People are raising their voices to protect the natural aura of the place.
Activists have also started demanding the protection of its thousands-year-old historic natural structure.
