Legendary wisdom of “Akbar & Birbal” (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The staging of the drama ‘Akbar & Birbal’ is underway at Mandala Theatre.

The SEE-appeared students, who participated in the 2-months foundational acting course, presented the drama. The second batch of the trainees staged the dramas as their ‘Grand Show.’

The drama is blend of the friendship, intellectuality and tactfulness. The cognitive conservation between Mugal Emperor Akbar and his clever minister Birbal gives both logical and humorous flavour.

‘Akbar & Birbal’ also reflects the importance of justice, reason, wisdom, human values, humour, intelligence, entertainment, as well as moral education.

Rolex Rai, Apechya Sherchan, Raja Babu Karki, Aashaya Gautam and Sukrim Regmi are the actors in the drama. The sound design of the drama is done by Sudip Khatiwada. Mentors Umesh Tamang, Anup Neupane, Sumitra Peham, and Milan Karki also have special appearance in the drama.

Likewise, the drama Akbar & Birbal will be staged every evening at 5:30 p.m. The drama, which began on June 30 (Asar 16), will conclude on July 2 (Asar 18).
