Kathmandu: The road section connecting the central capital, Kathmandu, with Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati Province, is currently in a disorganized state.

Due to ongoing construction and maintenance work in various sections and damaged stretches of the road, travelers have been facing significant inconvenience.

On the Pharping–Humane section, the road is broken in several places, and repair work is underway. As a result, travel through this area has become challenging.

However, the stretch from Humane to Phakhel has recently been paved, making the journey much smoother. Preparations for paving are underway in the section below Phakhel.

Meanwhile, construction of a bridge over the Mahalakshmi River is in progress, causing heavy mud and making vehicular movement difficult. After this area, concrete or gravel work is being prepared in certain sections.

The current state of the Kathmandu-Hetauda road has a direct impact on daily commuters and those transporting goods.
