HoR adjourned for 30 minutes

Kathmandu: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been adjourned for 30 minutes.

The HoR meeting adjourned after the opposition parties continued their stance of demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak in the visit visa scam on Tuesday. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmakers demonstrated after Speaker Devraj Ghimire attempted to proceed with the meeting.

Then, Speaker Ghimire gave time to RSP lawmaker Dr Chanda Karki to speak. Lawmaker Dr. Karki said all the networks of travel agencies, immigration rackets, and all human trafficking, which were conducted under the guise of visit visas, should be investigated. She asked where RSP made mistakes.
