Kathmandu: A meeting between Speaker Devraj Ghimire and the Chief Whip and Whip is currently underway to remove the obstruction in the House of Representatives.

The meeting is discussing ending the deadlock in Parliament, determining the schedule for discussions on the upcoming budget, and setting the parliamentary agenda.

According to the Speaker’s Press Advisor, Shekhar Adhikari, immediately after this, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee has been called at noon today in Singha Durbar.

Opposition MPs have been continuously obstructing the House of Representatives, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the visit visa controversy.
