Rs. 13.28 billion allocated for Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation

Rs. 13.28 billion allocated for Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation

Kathmandu: The government has allocated Rs. 13.28 billion for the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.

Presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year on Thursday, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel said Rs. 500 million has been allocated for the infrastructure of domestic airports. The Finance Minister said that infrastructure will be developed at airports, including Surkhet Provincial Airport.

Similarly, Rs. 4.15 billion has been allocated for the infrastructure development of Tribhuvan International Airport. The budget also includes a provision for feasibility studies for the construction of various domestic airports. Likewise, efforts will be made to remove Nepali airlines from the European Union’s red list.
