3 student unions stage demonstration demanding resignation of Home Minister Lekhak (Photos)

Kathmandu: All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), a closer wing of CPN (Maoist Centre), including 3 student unions, have staged a demonstration by demanding the dismissal of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.

They staged a demonstration at Maitighar on Tuesday. They accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of protecting the Home Minister Lekhak, who is involved in visit visa scandal.

Along with the Revolutionary, the leaders and activists of the fraternal organization of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), closer to CPN (UML), also participated in the protest.

The youth organisation of the Maoist Centre, YCL (Young Communist League), among others, also participated in the protest.

Additionally, the three student organizations issued a joint statement demanding that the Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, along with others involved in human trafficking and treason, be immediately dismissed.
