Mural project underway on Padma Kanya Campus’s wall (Photos)

Kathmandu: Painters are busy with a mural project on the wall of Padma Kanya Campus, Bagbazar. The mural project will incorporate paintings of women from different cultural backgrounds.

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), in collaboration with Saugat Arts, initiated the work of creating murals on the wall. The mural, after completion, will convey messages of recognition of diverse cultures, women’s empowerment, and unity.

Earlier, KMC collaborated with Nepal Pragya Pratisthan to create a mural of Nepali Footballer Sabitra Bhandari “Samba”. Under the city beautification campaign, KMC has been creating murals in different places of Kathmandu.
