Policies and laws will be amended to make foreign employment safe and well-regulated

Kathmandu: The government has announced plans to promote entrepreneurship within the country to create employment opportunities for youth.

Presenting the government’s policies and programs on Friday, President Ram Chandra Paudel said the government’s policy is to create a domestic employment environment and prevent youth emigration.

‘The government is preparing to promote entrepreneurship within the country and create jobs for the youth. It aims to establish an employment-friendly environment domestically to retain the youth workforce. We will dedicate the coming decade to internal employment,’ said President Paudel, ‘The government’s policy is to generate internal employment through both jobs and wage-based employment.’

He also mentioned that existing policies, laws, and procedures will be revised and formulated to make foreign employment safe, dignified, and well-regulated.
