Kathmandu: The government is going to administer vaccines to children below 5 years, who missed the last immunization drive, on May 14.
Dr Abhiyan Gautam, Head of the Child Health and Immunisation Section, Child Welfare Division under the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the 9 sorts of vaccines will be administered to the children deprived of vaccines in the recent immunisation drive.

Dr Gautam shared that 95 per cent of the children of that age are fully vaccinated at present. The remaining five per cent will be looked out for and will be immunised on that day.
The Ministry urged the parents of those who missed out to take them to the nearest health facilities and ensure they receive all essential vaccines.
