Nagarik Unmukti Party to quit government

Kathmandu: Nagarik Unmukti Party has decided to quit the government.

Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Arun Kumar Chaudhary, said the party directed him to give his resignation.

Talking to Nepal Views, he said, ‘The party has given direction to leave the government. I will resign by today.’

Resham Chaudhary arrested from Pragya Pratisthan

Nagarik Unmukti became angry with the government after police arrested Patron Resham Lal Chaudhary on the day of the announcement ceremony of unification with the Janamat Party.

Earlier, Party Chairperson Ranjita Shrestha said Chaudhary will be released soon.
