Kathmandu: Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto Ltd. has launched two new models from its Pulsar N series in the Nepali market.

At an event held on Tuesday at Bhrikutimandap, the official distributor of Pulsar motorcycles in Nepal, Hansraj Hulaschand & Company Pvt. Ltd., unveiled the new models Pulsar N160 and Pulsar N125. According to the company, both models have been introduced with advanced technology and attractive designs.

The Pulsar N160 is equipped with a 164.82cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 2-valve, air-cooled engine. This motorcycle generates 16 PS of power at 8750 RPM and 14.65 Nm of torque at 6750 RPM.

It features a 5-speed gearbox, 37mm USD front forks, and a Nitrox monoshock rear suspension. For braking, it has 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes with ABS. The bike has a ground clearance of 165mm and a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.

Smart features include Turn-by-Turn navigation (TBT), ABS ride modes, bi-functional LED projector headlamp, LED DRLS, LED taillights, and USB mobile charging.

The Pulsar N125 comes with a 124.4cc air-cooled, single-spark, 2-valve engine that delivers 12 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 11 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM.

This model also has a 5-speed gearbox with a fuel injection system (FI). For braking, it offers a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear drum brake with CBS (Combined Braking System).

Suspension includes a telescopic fork with 125mm stroke at the front and a monoshock with 100mm stroke at the rear.

It also features LED headlight and taillight, Bluetooth-enabled digital console, monochrome LCD, call receive/reject functionality, and missed call and message notifications.

The N125 model has a 1295mm wheelbase, 795mm seat height, 165mm ground clearance, and a 9.5-liter fuel tank.

According to the company, these new models have been launched considering the style, convenience, and technological preferences of Nepali youth.
